Color Testing Notes

Brick Dust Deep Red Mica is a gorgeous maroon-red shade that’s fantastic on its own or as a blender. I love how versatile it is - it pairs beautifully with a strong pink like Magenta Neon to create a stunning true red in cold process soap, melt and pour, or epoxy resin. It’s actually one of our most-used colors behind the scenes in our mixing lab because it’s just that dependable and rich.

Use Rate

  • CP Soap: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • MP Soap: .5 teaspoon per pound of soap base.

More or less can be added to achieve your desired color.
