Color Testing Notes

Mango Tango is a gorgeous golden orange that truly shines in cold process soap. It looks its best when gelled, which brings out those rich, warm golden tones beautifully. When ungelled, it’s still a lovely orange - just a bit softer and more muted.

Use Notes

As with most orange micas that have a red base, this orange can fade a bit under high heat conditions in cold process soaps. To get the most bang for your buck with this color, soap at cooler temperatures. This orange is bright and fantastic if it doesn't get too hot!

Use Rate

  • CP Soap: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • MP Soap: .5 teaspoon per pound of soap base.

More or less can be added to achieve your desired color.

⚠️ Warning: Titanium dioxide (airborne, unbound particles of respirable size) is on the Proposition 65 list because it can cause cancer. Exposure to titanium dioxide may increase the risk of cancer. Once incorporated into a liquid or solid base it is no longer airborne and falls off the Prop 65 list.
